FWIW - Maybe I have put too much blame on Jake Sullivan. Bob Woodward was on MSNBC this morning and he was claiming it was Biden who refused to even consider inserting US troops into Ukraine. Sullivan is said to have pushed for just threatening to do so in hopes it would have dissuaded Russia from invading.
I disagree with Woodward on this but he was playing up how this would have been just like Vietnam if we had put troops on the ground. (I still think the administration's constant deferring to Putin is more likely to cause a wider war than our showing strength would have.)

Approximately 75 percent of Russian deaths in the war are being caused by explosions. Half of the remaining deaths by gunshot wounds. The remaining bit is a variety of causes. Keep those rockets and 155 mm shells in the pipeline.
