This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

A couple of weeks ago there was a story that Russia was trying to put explosives on Western planes so this could be more that an accident.

"The entire assault group uses only light, unprotected civilian vehicles. Where are those huge stocks of BMPs.."

I have a friend who is a Brit, and at the gym today he commented about the US finally sending long range missiles with heavy warheads. “Nice to see the US aren’t total pussies”.
Which in a way is how some nations should nudge Trump along. Don’t be weaker than the French and NATO nations. Be a hero and win the war with no US casualties.

The little girls in my son’s kindergarten class probably wouldn’t to send weapons to Ukraine, either.

"What You Need to Know: As Russia’s military gains ground, Ukraine is requesting Tomahawk cruise missiles to counter the Russian advance. The Tomahawk, with a range of 250-1,550 miles, could provide Ukraine with critical long-range strike capabilities.

The Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) is a long range, all-weather cruise missile. As its full name suggests, the Tomahawk is used to take out ground targets. With a range of 250 to 1,550 miles (depending on the version), the Tomahawk is a powerful munition that could literally change the course of the war to Ukraine’s favor. The three most advanced versions of the Tomahawk (Block III, IV, and V) can penetrate Russia air defenses. Each of these versions of the Tomahawk brings different capabilities, including direct hit and cluster munitions."

"In a major development amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, Norway has committed to adopting the “Danish model” to support Ukraine, which involves direct financing of Kyiv’s military production to meet war needs.

During a recent visit to Oslo, Ukraine’s Defense Minister Rustem Umerov signed agreements with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram.

“Norway’s adoption of the ‘Danish model’ will accelerate the production and delivery of essential arms for Ukrainian forces,” Umerov shared on Facebook.

He also discussed a new “Norwegian model” for investing directly in Ukrainian defense technology companies. Further details will be announced soon.

What Is The “Danish Model”?

The “Danish model” offers Ukraine an innovative and cost-effective method for producing modern weaponry.

Denmark became the first foreign partner to directly fund Ukrainian defense enterprises, enabling Ukraine to reduce dependence on international aid while addressing shortages in arms production." (Much more)

Speaking of drones.

China is the #1 manufacturer of commercial drones. How that translates to military drones I'm not sure...but they're capable of producing in volume.

Something the "west" seems incapable of looking at the Ukraine war as far as weapons/ammunition production.

One more tick to catch record low from March of 22, two more to break it. 0.0093 rubles to the dollar really puts in perspective. The duct tape they used on economy is failing. You can tell they are desperate as Ukraine for war to end.

China is already flying drones over U.S. military installations on the U.S. mainland.

Unfortunately drones are a game changer. It's a equalizer for China who's been trying to catch up to the U.S militarily speaking.

Even if their drones aren't up to U.S military standards they'll be able to pump them out at a much greater volume than the U.S.

Definitely an area of concern IMO.
