France, the Baltics, Poland, Romania, the Fins and Swedes... seem to understand that dictators are always willing for another go. If Trump surrenders bits of Ukraine to Russia, that will only whet his appetite for the Baltics. His PR machine has already started to pave the way for reclaiming this part of Imperial Russia. Interesting story from occupied Crimea. The Russians appear to be re-activating a Soviet era base in Balaklava Bay that housed submarines. The base had strong support facilities above ground, but featured a nearly 2000 foot long tunnel in a mountain that could house up to 7 submarines in a channel looping from two entrances to open water. The entrances could be closed with massive caissons, and was impregnable to all but the most massive nukes. The base was never retrofitted for larger ships, so it's unknown what precisely the Russians would base there.
