You can’t really hide location via cellular or satellite. The sat connection might be how they find him, so we don’t want them knowing when he uses it.

They're most likely communicating via satellite signals. So, when someone "live tweets" during the conference - which is not public at the time - you simply need to use one of your air assets to look for where the sat-modems recently fired up.
