This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

Nole Nat 97 and some retread calling himself Clownhater are the two leading the charge.
That 97 is a real person, right? It’s been asked of some Noles before and they insist he’s a for real person. Just a gullible tool.
He’s a real dude. He was a Ron Paul for president / gold standard conspiracy guy four presidents ago on Warchant. Pepperidge Farm Remembers

Live look in at the Kremlin.

I've been consistently against these stupid wars.
Turns out Ron was right about Iraq and Afghanistan.
He certainly wouldn't have helped Saudi Arabia invade Yemen.
Or shipped arms to jihadists in Syria.
Or toppled the government in Libya and empowered jihadists across North Africa.
Imagine if we had to miss out on all that fun.

If you bought gold in 2002 when Bernanke promised the Fed would print when trouble hit, have you been hurt?
Do you expect it will go back to $300/oz?
I don't.
Is even a conspiracy when they announce what they'll do, and follow through?

Pepperidge Farm Remembers. And jokes aside, we would rather have you than a real Russian Troll, of which there were / are several here.

The reports in Ukraine today still seem to reenforce the idea that Putin doesn't trust his ground force and will just continue to randomly bomb soft targets and hope the the general population eventually puts pressure on Zelensky to give in to Russia to avoid civilian deaths.

These sanctions towards Russia, although probably quite severe, are gonna take too long to turn the tide against Putin, imo.

I wish there was a better, quicker way to thwart Putin, short of air power trashing his forces.

This is heartbreaking watching Ukraine being destroyed by a fvcking psychopath.

Yep.

Just saw that 600 civilians in Ukraine have been killed so far; probably 10 times more wounded.

The truth of Russia's military capabilities being aired out in full light is hilarious on this forum...given all the hyperbole and bullshit in past mDilitary threads here about how formidable Russia is militarily. And how much bullshit some of the typical OT idiots spewed.
Does anyone know how the Russian military is structured? Are they like the US in that they have units/special forces that are better trained and respected than the regular military?

Ron Paul voted to go into Afghanistan.

Given your affinity to the gold standard you must be very rich now.

The mayor of Melitopol, Ukraine, was abducted Friday by Russians, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in what it calls "a war crime under the Geneva Conventions."

According to Ukraine's parliament, Mayor Ivan Fedorov was detained by approximately 10 people while in the city center.

"During Fedorov's abduction, they put a plastic bag on his head," the parliament said on its official Twitter account.

The ministry has called on the international community to help free Fedorov.

"Russian troops, who have been launching missile and bomb attacks on civilian facilities and infrastructure in Ukraine, including children's hospitals and schools, over the course of two week, are cynically accusing the mayor of 'terrorism,'" the ministry wrote on its verified Facebook page.

"The fact of the abduction of the mayor of Melitopol, along with hundreds of other facts of war crimes by Russian occupiers on the Ukrainian soil, are being carefully documented by law enforcement agencies. The perpetrators of this and other crimes will be brought to the strictest responsibility."
