This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

Another great Amazon review for the Javelin. 5 out of 5. Fast delivery. Worked as expected.
Tom Clancy recounted a tale of how an M1A1 Abrams got stuck in the mud during the ground war of Desert Storm. It was then set upon by three tanks, Iraqi T-72s specifically. A round fired from roughly a thousand yards away bounced off, and the Abrams responded by blowing the T-72 that fired it to bits. A second round fired from 700 yards, bounced off, and the offending T-72 was blasted. The third T-72, at a range of roughly 400 yards, fired a round, which left a groove in the armor of the Abrams. It, too, was destroyed by a shot fired through a sand berm. These were, supposedly, Russia’s state-of-the-art tanks.

See, you’re the kind of man who thinks I’m some passive wallflower.
When I don’t behave the way you think women should you call me a “shithead”.
Your entitled to your opinion and I couldn’t care less.
I said something about the President. I didn’t call him a name. But how dare I!
Oh horseshit. You’re mean spirited and assholish and I’ve called out plenty of dudes for the same thing. Like many modern conservatives, you’re just playing the victim once called out for being a jerk.

Looks like the jig is up for Vladdy boy.

Love how the artist is showing is puffy steroid face.

As if he could do anything new that would make me hate this vile sorry excuse for a human being any more. He goes and does this. Someone take this maniac out already. Earth and humanity will be much better off without him on it.
Why would him calling out his natives hiding around the world on his countries $$$ make you so upset?

I can’t imagine the damage this kind of thing does to the vaunted Russian arms industry.

Question: if the war drags on for another year, how much longer will it be near 24 hour news coverage in America?

Will people eventually tire of it?

@Nole Lou

Oh there’s no way this goes on for another month.

When this is over, I’m going to have to start painting Zs on my kid’s toys and blowing them up, just to get my fix.

I’ve mentioned my friend the retired Marine before. He has been out for almost 20 years and he commented to me at work today that a lot of the stuff being blown up is 30-40 years old. He said we made due at times with older stuff, but everything was well maintained. This Russian stuff is old, poorly maintained, and with a lot of conscripts with no clue operating it.

Well I’m glad I have lots of company among other poor victimized conservatives.
You say I’m mean spirited and assholish.
Talk about name calling.
And I haven’t called you any names.
Have a good evening. 😉

Black Sea research firm SovEcon reports that Ukraine, one of the world's top grains exporters, will experience dramatic output declines in the 2022 harvest year due to the Russian invasion.

Ukraine's main agricultural export products are corn and wheat. Before the invasion, Ukraine was the second-largest supplier of grains for the European Union and one of the largest suppliers for emerging markets in Asia and Africa. Breaking down the numbers, Ukraine produced 49.6% of global sunflower oil, 10% of global wheat, 12.6% of global barley, and 15.3% of global maize.

SovEcon expects Ukraine's 2022 corn harvest to plunge 35% from 41.9 million tons last year to 27.7 million tons this year. This year's estimated wheat harvest has been cut to 26 million tons from an earlier outlook of 28.3 million tons, compared with 32.1 million tons last year.

SovEcon, which specializes in agricultural markets, said the regions affected by conflict account for 40% of the country's corn and wheat production. They said plantings and yields would be impacted by fuel shortages, lack of workers and fertilizer, and fieldwork challenges due to the conflict. Also, a weather component of drought could affect wheat-producing areas.

However, the research firm says estimates are based on Russia reaching a ceasefire deal with Ukraine, allowing farmers to begin fieldwork in April as spring is around the corner.

Russia is not yet serious about a ceasefire.
They expected to have Kiev and everything east of the Dnepr for a bargaining chip (or new rump state, Democratic Peoples Republic of Eastern Ukraine or some such).
How much more can he grind?

I think, with Zelensky seeing NATO not ride to the rescue, they are serious about signed neutrality.

The hang ups are then who gives on territorial demands. No clue who will give what on this part, it may have to be decided on the battlefield when one side sees it going against them.

I think Putin still thinks he can win militarily. Smart money says he can't though.
