This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

I'm reading this differently. I think Russia knows they can no longer advance, and won't be able to hold or resupply what they have for much longer, and so are committing atrocities to to force Ukraine to the table to stop the killing.

The longer this goes on, the more weapons and trained recruits will arrive for Ukraine, and the sooner Ukraine will go on the offensive, and start driving these disheartened bastards back where they came from.
Ukraine now claims that more than 300,000 people have come to fight on their side. If even half of that number is accurate and if they are able to arm them all-look out Putin!

That’s a shame .gif

At about 8:15 a.m., in the Bucha district, enemy air defense units of the Land Forces of Ukraine shot down an enemy SU-34 fighter-bomber! The plane was shot down using a Stinger MANPADS. Catapulting of the crew was not noticed, the plane crashed in the temporarily occupied territory.

Isn’t Nestle only sending pet and baby items to Russia? Are some of you suggesting that babies and pets should not receive nutrition in Russia because of a deranged leader?

Cite? Not to be a downer but what I could find shows 300,000 people have come to Urkaine's aid to fight as hackers online.

Let them make their own baby and dog food. It’s a big boy country. Or Nestle can give it away free if it’s actually a humanitarian gesture.

Good luck with that. I’’d be willing to bet Nestle supplies at least 90% of USA restaurants in some capacity. Maybe not always directly, but through other large distributors. I’m close to someone who does data analytics for them and it’s unbelievable how many food products are in some way tied to Nestle.
The same can be said of Koch. While it may be relatively easy for you to avoid purchasing their products directly, as they are not principally a B2C business, it will be next to impossible not to use them for the same reason.

On March 4, 2022, during the President’s daily press conference, the Mexican Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that Mexico has never imposed unilateral sanctions against other countries and that it only implements the multilateral sanctions imposed by the United Nations Security Council.

With respect to the draft amendment to the Export Control Regulation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs declared that it was not necessary, since the Committee of Export Controls of the Ministry of Economy, at the time of carrying out its risk analysis, is the one that determines if a product can be exported to a determined country or not.

As a result of the above, and based on the declarations of the officials of the Mexican government, Mexico will not impose unilateral sanctions to Russia or Belarus and will only implement sanctions if they are imposed by the Security Council.

You trust Russia to make a quality product for their babies?
The reality is, the world of infant formula is pretty much an oligopoly: Nestle, Danon, Abbott, and Mead Johnson being responsible for the overwhelming amount of supply. It's actually not that easy to take one of them offline without real risks to children.

We should be taking names and holding grudges against these countries that refuse to play ball.

If you read the article that has been linked a couple of times and again below, that was true with the CIA being there for years training Ukraine’s military and helping them evolve to what they are today, but when the shit hit the fan they were yanked consistent with Biden’s stated reasons for the no-fly zone.

If you don't think we have people over there having some fun than I don't know what to tell you.

Hate to have to pick but if it’s between Ukrainian children and Russian children, I’m going with Ukraine.

I posted the map earlier in the thread. It’s really just ‘the West’ that is sanctioning Russia.
The rest of the world has sort of shrugged.

Japan was only doing political sanctions. Do we cut off them, China, Mexico and Brazil for not playing ball?
