This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

It might be factual, but that was a BS political move designed to make Biden appear smart at the expense of Zelensky - not helpful in the middle of a shooting war. I voted for the guy (anyone but Trump), but most times I wish Biden would just keep his trap shut. Please 2024 give us better choices.

Agree…not seeing the point of saying that now.

Our 75 plus year presence in Germany has become a crutch for them and for Western Europe but at the moment that discussion might be best saved for another time.
Right now it is important to focus on pressing Scholz to step out from behind the mindset Merkel fostered - and for which she still insists she doesn’t regret-and force the Germans to step into the new reality.
I wouldn't expect her to say anything else. It really doesn't matter anyway, as history will judge her harshly, and there's nothing she can do about that.

Isn't it nice to know that the tired old excuses of "NATO expansion" and "Nazis" as legitimate reasons for Russia's aggression in Ukraine were cleared up nicely by Putin himself the other day?

Agreed.
Joe likes to boast about being tough. Getting the Ukraine prosecutor fired, Corn Pop, etc. He can’t help it.

This is odd to me. Biden acts like this is some sort of intelligence win and the rest of the world didn’t see it coming. Yet Putin was pretty clear in December 2021 that a war was coming unless the US and Nato changed plans regarding Ukraine. He says they were currently in talks with the US. He told this to global media at an annual forum, a 4 hour Q&A. Maybe Biden isn’t getting the full story.

Biden doesn't remember what he had for breakfast.

Biden is a walking gaffe and has been for 40 years. It’s always been his Achilles heal. He won the nomination because we absolutely had to get as many old and white independent voters as possible to beat the other guy who was so much worse. The democrats could not risk running anyone who was female, brown and/or gay. Looking back at the narrow swing state wins, it was right call to sadly. I don’t think he is running in 24.

There's some truth here. I would have voted for Joe except for Harris.

Supply lines to where the fighting is from Poland are over 800 miles long. Still think the no fly zone as Zelenskyy said was an absolute necessity to Ukraine survival will prove to be true eventually...
Russians aren’t flying many sorties in Ukraine these days.
