This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

If he suceeds in that, how in the ever living eff would he be able to hold Kyin long enough to save face. The insurgency and guerilla warfare would make Fallujah and Sadr City look like Mayberry compared to what would happen to the RU occupying force.

This.

Muslims are patient. They'll wait rather than fight to live for another day.

Ukrainians? Not so much.

This is brother vs. brother and they're not tolerating this shit.

I would guess most of what they pulled wasn’t even Russian. Seems like a common trend in the country at moment

Did anything happen at today's negotiations in Belarus? Haven't heard anything about that.

Nothing reported, even if it took place. I can't believe they'd agree to meet in Belarus given the news out of there today. Seems like a terrible idea.

Honestly, there's been awfully little news from the front lines compared to previous nights. It could happen any time now, but it doesn't sound like the mega assault the Russians have been lining up has started. Just real quiet.

I was expecting it to be bad by now, but now it's nearing sun up. Maybe Russia just taking a little longer to get even more in place.

Or maybe something is going on behind the scenes? Maybe negotiations are going on? Maybe Putin's getting internal opposition? To be clear I'm not seeing anything to that effect, just reading the vibes it feels different from previous nights.

Russia set a 3 p.m. local time deadline for a meeting at the Belarus border and Ukraine accepted. It's like on page 75 or something.

Haven't heard anything that might have come from that.

I keep hearing that Putin wants to end this before Monday because of the economy. My question is, why would that matter? Isn't Russia's economy ****ed either way? I mean, countries are not going to be like, "welp, that's done" and remove sanctions.
It’s doubtful the world will punish the innocent people of Russia for too long . That will just create another humanitarian crisis. I feel sorry for those people who are just caught up in one man’s personal desire for conquest.
You can’t believe that sending the entire nation back to the Stone Age economically is the best way forward?

I think Russian Standard is one of the few true Russian vodkas. And the empty spot on shelf looks larger than what would likely be devoted to Russian Standard in rural Missouri

If I had to guess it was Popov. Just judging by how close the shelf is to the floor and it looks and sounds Russian.

Not to be a party pooper, but how do know any of these claims have any reality to them?

I heard this reported hours before anonymous claimed it, so it did happen. Said they were having to process everything manually, but not that it had been totally stopped.

I have a feeling that anonymous is being encouraged, if they even need to be, to claim any and all cyber hijinks. Hell, I'm sure anonymous is chock full of NSA folks and doesn't know it, or pretend not to. You can see how useful they are to have around in this situation.

The Russians will have to suck it up until the oligarchs buckle

Target them, but the Russians haven't done much to overthrow Putin over the past couple decades

Why? Have you not seen what their sons and brothers are doing to the people of Ukraine?!? **** them! If they don't take to the streets, they will be the ones hiding in the subways by the time this is over.
