I imagine Russia is going to be pretty freaking nuts when the market opens. I can’t even imagine. People will have to be trading goods for food. The ruble will be worthless. It will be like the bank scene in Its a Wonderful Life on steroids.

My question is where are the journalists? The front line journalists? Every war has them. And this is shaping up as the defining war of the 21st century, the war to possibly make the biggest change in the Europen order since WW2. All I see are reporters interviewing refugees and the occasional twitter clips. Ammo and supplies are getting through, why not Wolf Blitzer live from Kyiv? Pulitzers are at stake!

No flights over Ukraine. NATO AWAC right on border. Very few flights in Russia. Looks like a bunch of planes coming from Eastern Russia to Moscow (more conscripts? " Bulgaria has a ton of flights flying over coming from Turkey

It is strange. You would think that all of the news nets would have people broadcasting live from Kyiv and the other cities under attack but it's just the usual talking heads.

The twitter video stuff is usually amateur filmed and there's no context to it.

Both of the wars against Iraq had much better coverage from mainstream TV media.

Another random point, nobody seems to know for sure if Putin is married, or how many children he has. It’s thought he had two daughters from his first wife, and that he may have had 1-2 daughters with a second wife, a former Russian gymnast. It’s rumored that he uses this secrecy about his family to help shield his wealth, which he has distributed/laundered through his wives and daughters.

I'm telling you... something happened at that negotiation at the Belarus border, but no one is talking about it.
I'm thinking it may be the change in the command structure (firing or resignation of top commander) - Russian generals may be re-thinking how far they should follow Putin's orders.

I am in no way justifying the Russians invasion , I’m simply saying the majority of the people didn’t want anything to do with this ridiculous invasion. Sounds like a lot of soldiers and parents were caught by surprise. There is no winners in this stupid war. Just degrees of losing . Punishing innocent citizens is not going to solve anything , rather create more suffering. Leave the punishment where it belongs
Got pet your unicorn!

CNN has reporters on the Russia Ukraine border as well as in Kharkov and Kiev.

Think Nat is chasing down a Ukrainian farmer trying to recoup his Russian tank that was jacked.
Nat: “Mommy I captured outside Kyiv and being held prisoner. Cannot stop wetting pants, but nice Ukrainian soldiers let me call you.”

Nat’s mommy: “How is possible?! Just last veek you vere safe here in Moscow looking at the gay internet porn and trolling Americans from babuska’s shed.”
