This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

This is kinda like how we send our kids to college. Look to your left, look to your right......one of you won't be here at the end of the year, one of you won't graduate.

In Russia, it's look to your left, look to your right. There's one gun for the 3 of you. One of you is going to be a human shield for the other two and won't be here in a week, and the gun will be for whichever of the last two is here in a month.

Mothers, fathers, hug and say goodbye. In America, we take you to Ikea to stock your dorm room. In Russia, they give you a blanket and hopefully some socks and body armor.

Two men in a Finnish city "annexed" a Russian diplomat's parking spot for Ukraine by painting it over with the country's flag on Wednesday. Acting on what they called a "two-man referendum," Jarno Virtala and Markus Mattsson decided to paint over the spot, in the city of Turku, with a broad blue and yellow stripe. The move was a swipe at the votes Russia called in occupied parts of Ukraine to justify its claim that they are now Russian territory.

Here is one theory.

"An independent U.S. government human rights and security watchdog is calling on the Biden administration to take immediate steps to remove Russia as a permanent member of the U.N. Security Council, after Russia hit civilian areas in Kyiv and other major Ukrainian cities this week with missile strikes.

In a letter to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken obtained by Foreign Policy, the bipartisan Helsinki Commission urged the United States to initiate a protest of Russia’s standing as a permanent member of the Security Council based on the violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty, which U.S. President Joe Biden has said flies in the face of the U.N. Charter.

Under the long-shot plan, Ukraine would issue credentials to a representative to claim the seat, allowing the United States or another nation to protest Russia’s standing as a Security Council member, which derives from a 1991 deal for Moscow to retain the Soviet Union’s permanent seat after the country collapsed. That could force a vote for Russia’s ability to remain on the Security Council."

Interesting. I don't think it happens but you never know... The entire premise of the permanent five was a mistake.

I would be willing to have the US step out as long as China and Russia did as well.

Whatever this means it appears to be in Russia.
"The warhead is on fire again. This time - the city of Cherkessk."
EDIT-from other tweet, "Since the beginning of the mobilization decreed by Putin, fires in administrative buildings and military police stations have become frequent. The video shows an army police station on fire in the city of Cherkessk, Russia. "

#Ukraine - Southern Front: sectors of Andreevka & Berislav (12:00 local time) -4/4- Hypothesis: possibility of a diversionary attack in order to divert attention from the main direction of the offensive, which could be the SSW Nikolayev sector or the SE of Zaporozhye"

Which make it all the more ludicrous to lob them at civilian targets. It’s pretty clear they have blown through all their modern tanks and are at a point of “borrowing” 50 year old tanks from Belarus because their 50 year old tanks are running out. The stories that will be written about Putin’s folly will be amazing, assuming we all live 😂

Fish and Russians stink after 3 days. (Regrets to Ben Franklin.)

"The first echelons of Russian servicemen who are part of the regional group of forces have arrived in the Republic of Belarus - Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus!"
