We had a cat in heat a few years ago. Never before and never again since have I heard an earthly noise that rivaled it. I'm pretty sure the sound emanated from the bowels of hell...are they always this annoying? Acting like she's on E or something. Straight trippin'
This sounds peculiar, I have lots of q-tips, what do I do with them?My friends rescued two kittens years ago. They'd hoped to have them slated before the first heat cycle, but the one started early. The vet offered a solution...

Clean ears, satisfied cat, clean ears, satisfied cat....?Your cat is in heat. Q-tips have a phallic shape. Think about it.
Pardon my ignorance on diddling cats, but I don't see how this would solve the problem. My understanding is that male cats have barbs on their penises that stimulate ovulation. Unless and until the female ovulates she is going to remain in heat for several days until the cycle naturally ends. So unless you get pretty rough with the Q-tip I don't see that it would achieve the desired result.Your cat is in heat. Q-tips have a phallic shape. Think about it.
