I am going to guess the two dogging her haven't ever watched her.
She’s a “stats queen” whatever that means. It’s not like she’s Troy Davis rushing for 2000 yards on a terrible Iowa St team. Iowa is a 2 seed for crying out loud.
I do like that the one guy thumbed his nose at Carleton.

While it would be a huge challenge, would love to see the Hawks face Baylor to go to the final four. Would love to see their comments on MG after that.

Because the Big 12 is a real conference that plays defense unlike the Big 10. You can't just accumulate stats easily unless you are a stat queen.
If you're an actual good player on a good team then you can't put up stats against good competition, it's just not possible.

Yes, Gustafson will do well against whoever Iowa would play, as she has done well against everyone. She was good against Notre Dame, although the game itself was not much of a contest. My guess is Iowa vs Baylor would go very similarly, the Baylor team is superior athletically by quite a margin at every position. Iowa had zero ability to stop Notre Dame on defense, just really hard to overcome that disadvantage.
Iowa State played Baylor close for more than three quarters. Maybe Iowa has a chance.

They clearly have never watched Iowa play other than the Big Ten title game. Maryland tried playing her with one defender or by bringing a second over after she caught the ball. Horrible game plan.
Against every other team she’s been double teamed and as soon as she catches the ball a third defender comes over. How the hell can you be a “stats queen” when you’re double and triple teamed every possession? Not to mention, she shot 70 percent from the floor. Not exactly jacking up 30 shots a game to get her 28 points.

It seems that was the approach of everyone in the Big Ten tourney. They really pushed, shoved and elbowed her all game; even away from the ball and up and down the court. If the officials watch that closely in the NCAA tourney, teams will have 2-3 people foul out just trying to guard her.
