Three Chiefs Fans Found Dead In Backyard Of Friend’s Home After Watch Party

So...follow me here.

January 7th was a Sunday. I believe the game was a late game, 325pm start...so it probably got over about 630ish. And as the article states, above freezing that day in KC.

Now, I believe Missouri is a legal weed state. Kansas City, Chiefs fans...probably partying it up big time. Lots of stepping outside to spark up a fatty, etc. Maybe have a fire pit type thing to keep warm outside, etc. Lots of drinking too.

I do also believe that our Big Ass Winter Shithammer Storm came up through from Oklahoma to the east of KC, and KC probably in some fashion got hit too like we did. And considering it began hitting Iowa on the night of the 8th give or take, chances are the weather probably went downhill around KC overnight Sunday or early Monday morning.

Back to Sunday night. Host guy goes inside, crashes - per his story all he knows is they stayed but he has no idea if/when they leave. Guys are sitting outside, hammered drunk and maybe and all weeded up - edibles, smoke...whatever. All pass out - and yes shit can happen passing out while outside in near freezing temps for an entire night.

Host guy wakes up to nobody inside, probably has to go to work. NEVER looks outside to the back yard (probably hung over, late for work, etc), and he leaves through the front door.

When he gets home from work, it has snowed, maybe bigly. Everything everywhere is covered in snow, including his back yard and his friends.

In my drunk ass smoke filled crazy days of the 80's and 90's, a lot of messed up stuff happened in partying situations similar to this setting...

Wrap it up guys, case closed. Torb solved it.

I did a lot of partying as well and the odds of 3 people getting ‘unable to wake-up drunk’ in the cold are low.

Honestly, I am shocked a few Iowa tail gates haven't ended this way. Parking enforcement rolls through a few hours after a 2:30 start in November and finds some stiffs .

But wasn't this residential nowhere near the stadium. Home owner was the only security

Well, I normally would believe that too obviously. People in the thread have mentioned the fentanyl theory - and I kinda buy into the concept of "drugs and booze" being in play here. I just kind of am in line with Torbee on this though - just a bunch of extremely drunk ass people sitting around getting shitfaced while sort of double-fisting with "something".

I could be wrong, I just don't think this guy that lived being smart enough to pull something foul-playish. This reeks more of abject stupidity of all concerned to me.

Call it an extremely unlikely and unfortunate series of events...

Don't overthink this. People get super drunk at tail gates. Those guys were super drunk, or super high, or they were hit by some fentanyl laced weed. It could happen anywhere.

The dude answered his door in his skivvies with a glass of wine in his hand and three frozen dudes in his backyard. This seems like garden variety Missouri dumbassery to me, not a homicide.
Police bodycam has been released.

They made it home. If it was fentanyl at the game, they would not have made it out of the stadium.

There is absolutely no incentive for weed dealers to lace weed with Fent. You lose profit that way when you kill you regular customers. Weed is legal in KC. So if they were smoking weed, they got it from a dispensary.

Pill poppers will knowingly seek out fent laced pills, chasing the highest of highs they think they can handle without dying

True Detective taught me you have to safely get them to 38 degrees

So what is the recommended method:
*Thaw in cool water in sink
*Thaw for several days in refrigerator
*Use Thaw setting on Microwave

It has to be overdoses followed by hypothermia, right? No clear motive, the mysterious 5th individual adds further mystery though. Friend seems a little cagey over the whole thing which leads me back to the drug overdose angle. Sounds like he was on a two day bender himself if he was dead to the entire world for 48+ hours. Very strange indeed.

My guess is he supplied the stuff.

Also guessing Fentanyl. Would find it extremely hard to believe all 3 could pass out from booze and freeze to death together.
A good buddy (no joke) was a recreational nose candy user. He had three friends over about a year ago for drinks and other libations. He and one friend woke up, one other died in his living room and the other in his yard. Fentanyl is some wicked shite.

That, or maybe Hillary fired up the heart attack gun one last time?

Fent is spread in most drugs that you can't buy in a store. I unfortunately know more about the cooking process from my own clients (not walter white shite). They are killing their brains.

Legalized THC has proven it can help many conditions. That is why I get upset when people talk about fent in it. One death by that, the company goes bankrupt

I don't buy the 3 guys drunk theory.

Gotta be either drugs or some kind of slight chance of carbon monoxide.

I thought I'd read something** that said that the guy had a dog that would've had to be let out - so the guy would have to be taking him out the front for walks all the time, rather than letting it outside in the backyard to take care of business. If it's crappy weather out, I don't see why he'd take the hard way, rather than just opening the back door for the dog.

**Of course, I could be misremembering.

Yup, and now that he's in rehab he's going to use his "addiction" as a defense I'd guess.
Not so much as a defense, but for sentencing after a plea is my guess. That's where you assert "this is not an excuse, but an explanation" and then present a proactive approach to addressing the issue to the court.

So all 4 had some form of fentanyl laced drugs. 1 man that knows his tolerance hits the bedroom sleeps for 2 d
days. 3 confused guys go for a smoke or one smokes and 2 keep him company. All 4 pass out and should sleep for 2 days but it’s winter so the 3 outside die. Don’t do drugs kids.

*all speculation
