Several posters have said that the dead guys went over their limit, or something similar to that. Serious question, except under the supervision of an anesthesiologist is there actually a safe limit for anyone? I had it administered to me 6-7 years ago before surgery. I can’t imagine the risks just rolling the dice on it.

The issue is often the purity inconsistency. So they think they can toe the line with a particular dose - but purity levels can be all over the place.
So have hope they’re around sober people with access to Narcan.

70,000+ people per year are dying from Fentanyl ODs in the US. This one is a story bc it was multiple at once and their deaths at first seemed suspicious when in reality its becoming quite common. Scary shit for sure.
I guess I don't see the big mystery here. 3 drug eaters OD and die or freeze to death. People OD all the time. We are hearing about it because of Cheifs and one guys dumb dad thinks it's a conspiracy

I agree. It was probably fentanyl, and fentanyl kills people every day. Hell, it seems like it kills a famous person every day, let alone average Joes. I personally do not understand the appeal of taking something that you may or may not wake up from the next day, regardless whether you might freeze to death while unconscious.

I mean, some users still can’t avoid (or actively seek out) fentanyl with “tranq”/xylazine even though tranq literally rots flesh.
there has been an outbreak of high school kids dying here near me. the parents claim they think they are taking ecstasy or something and it is laced. supposedly the kids have no idea the fentanyl is in there.
I think if you purposefully are doing fentanyl recreationally you have to have a certain level of resigned to death mixed with chasing the dragon and just flat out being an addict. Getting unknowingly cross contaminated drugs is also a risk. They could have just been settling down for the night with some nice soothing cocaine or heroin.
I think I read that the police were telling the families that could be 30 days or more.

Very possible. I said earlier in the thread, I know a guy that was partying with three friends in a similar situation. He and another guy woke up, the other two didn't.
I'm hearing that a lot of street merchandise is being laced with fentanyl these days...
