Three Chiefs Fans Found Dead In Backyard Of Friend’s Home After Watch Party

Good Lord what a stupid way to die. Get drunk, go outside and freeze to death?

Can't wait to hear the rest of the story.

Initial impression is that they were drunk or under the influence, went outside and passed out, froze to death.
If foul play was involved, it would seem unlikely that the homeowner would leave the bodies there vs trying to get rid of them.

I read about this earlier today. What a weird story. I'll be looking forward to seeing what additional details come out/what more is discovered over the coming days.

Unless he thought the drunken freezing to death story was a homerun hit. People are dumb, and folks have claimed much dumber things while being confident that they'll get away with it.

Just really friggin weird.

That story seems sketchy as heck, though the fentanyl one might be a good theory if you presume the guy never once went out back door.

Hard to imagine missing a dead guy on your porch for two days. Most houses you typically have a good view of porch from the inside.

Just really friggin weird.
But the police already said it was not a homicide. Also, what is the likelihood that one guy could kill three other men essentially at once and leave no signs of a struggle or violence. Of course, the odds of three men passing out or falling asleep at basically the same time in freezing conditions seems pretty low as well.

@jasonrann guessing neighbors of yours, Just sayin my man!

Why would the cops rule out homicide publicly?

Eh. Could be just PD hoping to keep the guy and his lawyer cooperative

The lawyer giving his assumption of hyperthermia is a bit odd considering autopsies haven’t been done

Willis claims he went to bed but told his friends they could hang around if they pleased.

It wasn't until January 9, two days later, when the fiancée of one of the men came looking for him, that the bodies were discovered. After her fiancée never came home, she went to the friend's home and broke into the house. That is when she found him on the back porch.

When the police arrived, Willis opened the door wearing nothing but his underwear and holding an empty glass of wine. After they entered the home, they discovered two other bodies in the backyard.

Willis claims he didn't know his friends' bodies were in his backyard, however, he also claims his friends "froze to death."

That dude's guilty AF

2 weeks seems like a long time for autopsy / toxicology results

Guilty of being a drunk loser most likely.

The dude answered his door in his skivvies with a glass of wine in his hand and three frozen dudes in his backyard. This seems like garden variety Missouri dumbassery to me, not a homicide.
Wrap it up guys, case closed. Torb solved it.
