Not a dig on anyone not sure what your getting at just simple truth of coaching vs competing. Anyone that knows sports knows that it does not always translate. JB could be a great coach as well as a great wrestler but its not written in stone yet.

He'll be good recruiter, however coaching is overrated at this level. Not everyone can hit a blast double in college and neither could JB like he does now. However, recruits are everything, coaching would be about 10% depending on the wrestler. Lee and Kemmerer are good examples.
Ok so this is a good debate I agree with your point somewhat. I would put the percentage much higher on the coaching vs recruiting aspect for a HEAD (only) coach like maybe 40/60 even with a guy like Kemdog in this conversation. Im leaving Lee out and guys like Hall because there are only one of them that comes out every few years there of a special bread. That being said if you take the rest of the starting spots in the line up the coaching aspect from good to great is much larger do to coaching. Matt McD is perfect example of this.
