was, missed opportunities. Clark didn't get a major. Coop had some good scoring shots but didn't finish. Rhodes had 3 or 4 opportunities, but didn't finish. Meyer? Looked like he MAYBE had a couple opportunities, but didn't finish. Same with Brooks. Missed opportunities.
I will give it to NC State. They are really good counter wrestlers. I don't know, but I can imagine, how many times the Hawks were in on shots and NC State turned it into their opportunities and they all finished for points. Gosh that was hard and frustrating to watch. Figures that I had the best tickets in my life.
P.S. I saw Stoll walk up the tunnel and he did not look good at all. Hope it is not as bad as what I was seeing.

Why they let Sam continue to wrestle after he injured it the first time is beyond me. The match was over. The meet was over. He'd just screwed up his knee. The last thing he should have done was risk screwing it up even more. Got a feeling his Nationals might play out like Telford's did a few years ago. Too bad, because he had a very good chance of becoming a 4x AA, like Telford did.

Did anybody else notice that during the dual ( I cant remember what match) Bobby Telford came out to the bench, said something in Toms ear and Tom IMMEDIATELY jumped up and ran into the locker room????

Maybe I've been spoiled this year because I had the honor to help coach a high school team to a wrestling duals title, but this match with NC State gave me nothing to get excited about. There wasn't a single moment where I was tempted to shout out loud, fist pump, or even get my blood pressure up. I scheduled my lunch "hour" around this dual...at least I got lunch.
