Fine. No BIG teams in their bracket. Lets play someone else.
Kansas has some Covid issues. They had to step out of the Big XII tournament.
A bunch of posters just want sweet 16 and they are pretty happy. Route to sweet 16 looks okay.
I'll take VCU-Oregon winner over the Florida-Va Tech winner.
Watched the A10 Finals earlier today. They play up tempo, which plays to Iowa's favor.
But again, how will we handle any team with athletic guards that try to play at a frantic pace on both sides of the ball?
I want to say root for VCU, but Oregon did just lose to Oregon State as well, and the Ducks owe us a win from the 2012 NIT.

Oregon isn’t very good this year. If we lose that one that’s just bad. I love that finesse matchup!

I fully expect an "its over boyz" when we get down 4-3 in that game

Only eight times has a 2-seed gone down in the opening round, the last being Mich State back in '16.
The last NCAA tourney - two years ago obviously - all 2-seeds made the Sweet 16 at minimum.

Yeah, a 2 seed only means you get to play a 15 seed in the 1st round, not all the way through to the final four.
It's actually a reasonable bracket outside of having to play Gonzaga to get to the final four, I'm just hoping one of the teams playing Gonzaga goes crazy and knocks them out before the elite 8 game...and I know, ain't gonna happen.
More likely to beat Gonzaga than Illinois.
I think VCU beats Oregon and will pose a very tough matchup for Iowa. They have the athletic, really good defensive guards that give us fits

I love the opportunity to not only play again against the Zags . I love that the Hawkeyes get a chance to knock off the last undefeated team in college basketball 🏀. Go Hawks

I am going to look past Grand Canyon U, and if we lose to them, probably have a breakdown
