GO HAWKS!
Very trueAnyone who's game is blocking shots will get allot more fouls than blocks against Luka Garza.
The only guys who give him trouble are big guys that don't have to jump like Dickinson and Kofi.
Kilroy is that you? You know someone is a terrible defender when they average 3 blocks a game, are the most athletic 7’ (with a 7’4 wingspan) player in the country with a good shot at being the number 1 pick in the NBA draft and are one of the favorites for Defensive Player Of The Year
He’s easily one of the best defensive players in the country.
JFC you’re a buffoon.
Saturday
Time TBA
Sorry you didn’t go in depth enough I still don’t get itBuffoon? Lol, ok.
Obviously you're not very smart, hence the terrible attempt at making a coherent point and also not real familiar with how basketball works.
Allow me to explain in terms a half witt such as yourself will understand.
Saying he can't defend Garza is in no way saying he's a bad defender. He's not.
You attempted a straw man there and that's what idiots do.
When you're 215 pounds you can't defend Luka Garza period. Will not work, at all.
Garza will simply move him under the basket where he can't block the shot.
If you jump to block shots against Garza he will simply hold onto the ball, let you jump, go into you and draw the foul.
If they matched up Mobley probably gets 3 or 4 blocks. 4 or 5 fouls and Luka still puts up 25 all day every day.

My God Anthony DavisYep, the fact he just put up one of the best defensive seasons in history as a freshman and will soon be named national defensive player of the year proves he has no chance at giving Garza any problems like you’ve stated multiple times. Brilliant take Rock n Roll Brain.

7 footers with 7’4 wingspans that are world class athletes just can’t defend the post!

I had Iowa -13.5. In the ball park and GCSt are no slouches.Early line is Iowa-15
Completely agree. Garza well just beat him to a spot and bury him deep in the post. Mobley is a big time NBA prospect because he can protect the rim and switch onto guards in pick and roll situations, not because he can guard old school centers on the block. Mobley would probably block the hell out of him a few times but that never bothers Garza.
Patience young Jedi. One. At. A. Time.Ouch hope the boys are ready to make a run! Balls out
Have to make shots, play tough defense and stop dumb turn overs.Ouch hope the boys are ready to make a run! Balls out
I actually really like this draw to make the E8...then not a fan of their chances for F4
Some talking heads already picking Oregon over the Hawks,
Consistent play frequently evades us.lets just hope the Iowa team we know & love plays the way we know they can play
i hope Fran/the coaches have figured something out for Gonzaga because I really think we play them one more time this season
My internet machine says Iowa plays on Friday.
If this is the NCAA official list I don't see Oregon or VCU on it
If Drake is #48 why do they have to play a "play-in" game?
