Trump about to gut the VA Healthcare system

So back to the topic.

1- Hiring freezes occur in many businesses when a new CEO comes on board so as to give them a chance to define the company direction and take a look at the processes.

2- It is long ago time to end telework. Period. All federal employees have been told that they need to report for in person work hereafter.

3- getting people to quit is not the real goal. getting people not getting any actual work done to quit might be.

This is all the normal 'hair on fire' liberal claptrap. It is designed 100% to foment fear and anxiety in anyone and everyone so as to try to generate an almost astroturfing type of opposition generation based on a very liberal negative interpretation of events.
1. No large corp freezes things across the board because business must continue or you fail.
2. Many GOV agencies do not have the capacity to have all staff in a facility.... this is even with large monthly leases that cost tax payers huge. Further, many agencies/departments were modernized over the past decade so you might have an HR person in New Mexico working for a facility in DC or might have a buyer/contractor working from home for multiple facilities which saves on office space and allows the staff to do work for many different parties. Finally, the EO said "remote" workers and nothing about telework.
3. Getting people to quit is the goal. The GOV already pays less than private sector in about 80% of jobs. The reason many good employees choose the GOV might be the mission (Serving Veterans for example), benefits (good health and retirement) and most likely remote/telework. If you have a stellar employee doing work remote from 100 miles away why would you terminate them when you already have a hard time finding good help... and then when allowed to hire again your pool is now just the locals who might not be the best person. Thought we wanted the best.

I’m a Christian, but the Jews would like a word with the two of you on your views on the basis/origin of Christianity.

😜

Well that and it’s just not true. The churches founded by Paul all over the Mediterranean weren’t Catholic unless there is some major revisionist history going on.

For the record I was raised Catholic and I have no problem with it but switched to a different denomination in high school. Just wasn’t for me.

I’ve been back in the office for a year after being WFM for four years. Probably the toughest year of my career. Just a waste of time in travel.

A man has to know his limitations! With that attitude, I'm thinking if Bubba comes through your back door at 2 AM and you pull your piece, it's probably going to end up in your ass as he sodomizes you with it. Air Force, right?
I think alaska guy has you on ignore. Regardless, I'd put money on him being able to kick your ass pretty handidly, but being man enough to walk away. Love how you're suck a coward you think serving in military is an insult.

What line of work? If I were a large employer Id be opposed to work from home. Almost universally. Except for instances of bad weather etc

Finance. I don’t get the obsession with making me waste an hour and a half of my day I could be working getting ready and driving to and from work.

Because, just for illustrative purposes, I am paying you and I would like to see you dressing, acting, and doing the part I am paying you to do.

And to make sure he's actually working and sitting on HROT all ****ing day like all the public school teachers in the house all day! 🤣

I won't speak for all corporations, but you do know that they and the GOV can see every website an employee visits and for how long, right? Can see what articles you read or items you download. Can see what you print off. Can see what application you are using and for how long. They can even see every key stroke you make. If an employee isn't productive the company or GOV would know and they wouldn't last long.

I can guarantee he doesn't make it 4 years if he takes away VA care. There are a lot of Vets that have guns (I'm not one of them). He will be taken out by one of them.
A whole lot of them voted for Trump 3 times. If they lose VA benefits it will be the fault of the Jew bankers, tranny kids, illegals, or the Deep State. It won't be Trump's fault, he'll tell them so. When you are in a cult you have to first accept that the leader is infallible.

This is true. I spoke to a buddy who is head of anesthesia at a VA hospital. They just fired his head NP and canceled the contracts of all the residents they were supposed to bring on. They don’t have enough staff currently to handle all their scheduled procedures.
Boy, if only the Dems hadn't run the worst candidate ever who had that funny laugh.

Servicemembers swore an oath. The country needs to follow through with their end of the deal.
"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

The ones who voted for Trump violated that oath. Bigly.

Crazy Filthy Don is a draft dodger prick that has no idea what a VET is or their needs. He is the wrong person to be making any decisions for them.

The VA doesn't need to be the sole provider of all medical services for veterans...

If true, I’ll be interested to hear what one of my employees thinks of this. He’s a vet and goes to the VA regularly. He supports Trump and every time I ask him about some dumbfvckery committed by the orange turd he somehow justifies it or immediately jumps to whataboutisms. I consider him a friend so I’m not wishing him ill will or anything, but this would be a major blow for him from a healthcare standpoint.
I don't wish him ill will, but I will laugh at him if he gets sicker and can't get help.

Actions have consequences.

Bingo! All this RTO is a force-shaping/downsizing activity. AT&T is doing it as is Amazon. They tell us it's about collaboration, yet my team supports bases in AK, CO, and NE with a staff spread out across the country. We pack up, drive in to the office just to log back into Teams. Only now, I have to listen to people chew with their mouths open in the cube next to me with an echo between live voice and the Teams their on call.

2 he wants to defund it so it can be privatized and our tax dollars can then go to one of his buddies to give us Vets substandard care at a higher price to the taxpayers. Then his buddies can give him kick backs in the form of a “political donation” to his pac.
This.

At the end of the day, EVERYTHING he does is a grift.

He has zero interest in governing or improving America - those are just things he pretends to garner support so he can line his pockets.

The fact most people can't see this stupefies me.

Yes, yes they do if they want to go that route. Private practice providers have no idea what to do with Vets.
Yes and no. That's what the Community Care program helps with...I've not been impressed w/ the VA's podiatry clinic, so I'm using the Community Care Program to leverage civilian care in that area. It depends on the need and the area the vet is in.

Look at all the people getting worked up over a TWEET by some random lady on the internet.

Y'all believe everything you read and WANT to believe.

Let me know when those 70% get fired like she said.

Agreed. There are some facilities that can't keep on specialists. That is not the fault of the VA. Private sector just pays more.
