Trump has completely lost it. Will anyone take away the keys?

yes. I am against the new world order. I am against the regions. I hope to heck he is just threatening and not really planning it. plus, how could he get the rest of the world to do their regions as well? and, he has talked about canada and greenland and mexico and panama, sounds like a rgion in the mkaking. I hope not. maybe his plan is to just strengthen this region as best he can. I am hopeful for a strong usa but not liking the regions thingy.
The regions idea is absurd on so many levels.

There are treaties that involve various countries for a reason. Each country has an identity. Though they may speak the same or similar languages, they have distinct cultures. Distinctly different. Much of the differences are due to migration, and religion.

Mercosul for example is Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay and Brazil. I’d literally lmao if anyone thinks that they could ever be a region.

South Africa with Mozambique or Angola. You’re kidding, right?

But, it’s much simpler than that. Suppose our region is North America, and the leader rotates. I’m sure there’s not a MAGA on the board here that would go for the Mexico president to be the leader.

See how ridiculous it is?

I tend to agree.

It's a bit of a joke, sad joke really. Ottumwan in tx aka OiT, has been on this board for years. He was always the conspiracy nut, Alex Jokes/Infowars, NWO, the Bilderbergs, 9/11 inside job, Sandy Hook was actors, all the usual stuff. Crazy but harmless, not at all a mainstream Republican, the proverbial both sides thought he was a nut and crazy.

Fast forward to the Trump years, where the Republican party has been hijacked, has a conspiracy for everything, detached from reality, OiT is now basically a run of the mill - Republican/GOPer/right/conservative - whatever term you'd like for that side.

He's basically indistinguishable from a typical MAGA, but just a handful of years ago he was the crazy conspiracy nut. That's the (sad) joke.
Got it. Thanks.

In a lot of ways yes. And no offense of course - that's sad - if you're someone who cares about the country.
none taken. I tend to think maybe "the whole entire party being conspiracy nuts and magats" is a little bit of an exaggeration but it is true that there are more of us now than when bush was prez. so I get what you are saying. I know you did not say the whole party but I agree it is trending more that way.

let us just hope he is just threatening and screwing around. not really presidential of somebody to do this... but it is trump... maybe it is presidential now, the new normal

That the idea that billionaires don't pay is ridiculous. Not only do they pay a lot, taxes collected from the top 1% accounted for 40% of all federal income taxes paid!

So yea, eff those 1%ers who are already paying 40% of all income taxes paid in the United States.
BS. They have teams of attorneys to not pay taxes. Bezos pays himself very little and takes loans out for millions to avoid paying taxes. Trump paid zero federal taxes by scamming the IRS. Don't give us this BS that they pay their fair share. It's a ****ing lie.

I wish we had zero taxes, rich and poor. and in between. wishful thinking

Or you can just read the facts here so you don't look like a total douche face: (click it, it's a link, and then read it) https://taxfoundation.org/data/all/...eral Income Taxes,of all federal income taxes

To such an extent, even, that we had him on our first year 12 Saturdays podcast (this was at least 10 years ago) as a bit of a lighthearted sideshow in the realm of "get a load of this complete whackjob who is certifiably nuts but kind of fun to talk to and a Hawkeye fan" that all our listeners of all political persuasions found amusing and nutty.

And now, like you said, what was crazy ass shit 10-15 years ago is regualry spouted by elected members of Congress.

We are indeed in the most batshit timeline.

I guess I was kind of predicting the future on the podcast

unfortunately I am not exactly thrilled with it. I told people on here a bunch about the new world order with regions but it looks like trump is serious about it. or the plan is just to threaten it to get negotiating leverage. in all the studies I have done it seems there are to be ten or eleven regions in the world:

I bet those studies are good. 🤣

I consider myself a little bit repubber , and little bit reagan, and a little bit trump and little bit libertarian. conservative . fairly religious but not over the top. anti-bush and bob dole and mccain. the old school kind of left-republicans
As an outsider, I consider you a crazy mofo.

You may be on to something... Is there anything else that could explain Trump's erratic behavior towards Canada and borders and lakes?
