Yeah it’s a bit unrealistic to think it won’t be rescheduled to a later date as happens in most cases. OTOH, Trump has probably exhausted all executive privilege claims. Depends on the assigned Judge as to how many delays will occur.
Judge can deny them all, let him appeal after conviction and have him sit in prison while appealing.
I do worry an advice of counsel defense would convince some MAGAs on the jury, should it ever get that far.
