There is a 10% tariff on finished automobiles in Europe. Japan has no tariffs on American vehicles. There is 25% tariff on light trucks in the United States.
What is he going to negotiate? That Mercedes and BMW build their vehicles in Alabama and South Carolina? That Subaru and Toyota build theirs in Indiana and Texas?
