With the announcement of 200 deaths in Italy in the past 24 hours, this is starting to feel like a low-budget sci-fi movie where the comically incompetent government gets overwhelmed with some sort of contagion.
Trump's checkbox so far:

- Attended CPAC with 2 known cases
- Held meetings with advisers who may have been exposed
- Constantly shook hands with everybody
- Touched his face about a billion times

Italy has a particularly old population which is part of the reason they got hit hard. Also they weren't able to slow the spread so the cases spiked and overwhelmed the health system.
In the US we will get to see how the obese are affected by the virus.
