Or possibly committed a federal crime. He is either broke or lying on his taxes. If he claimed losses on his taxes, then claimed big profits when getting loans, that's fraud.

Apparently there is an audit due to a $73million deduction he took which they are questioning. If it goes against him he will face a $100M bill coming.
He is in quite the spot here. After all, there is no way he could possibly prove he paid more than that in taxes. I mean it’s impossible. If only there was a set of documents. Documents that he could release. Documents that could prove this was fake news. But, alas, there are no such documents. Poor persecuted Donald Trump.
