Unusually persistent cold weather dominates central Florida....

Yesterday sucked. Plenty of sunshine but never got out of the 50s. The warm-up starts today though. Will be in the 80s starting Wednesday and the weather Saturday for Gasparilla looks awesome. The pirate wenches and mermaids will be showing plenty of skin compared to the last couple years.

Front moved through an hour ago. Low tomorrow morning is supposed to be about 47 in Marco.

I spent last night at my son’s “cold weather” camp out in middle Georgia. I froze my balls off. 45 with nice little 15 mph gusts after the front pushed through.

This is crazy. We MAY touch 70 this weekend then another front comes in for next week. I want to get out on the water but my blood has thinned enough that I can't hack it in this weather.

59 degrees this morning in Marco with around 15 to 20 mph wind.
Pickleball outdoors is scheduled in a half hour. I will show up but I suppose nobody else will.

Beautiful February day up here on the First Coast. Blue sky, no wind, low 60’s this afternoon.

Getting better. 72 and very little wind. Heading to 80 for Friday and Saturday.
At the beach.
Yea this weekend will be nice. Then another front to cool things down Tuesday.

I am heading to South Beach for work on Sunday then Key Largo for a few days after. Looks to be mid-70s the whole time but at least the lows will stay in the mid 60s.

Kayaking today. No pickleball.

It has been raining in Tampa for almost 24 hours straight with few breaks. The Weather Channel app says it will continue, without interruption, until 10pm. That would mean 34 hours of steady rain.

It started here early yesterday morning and just gets worse and worse as time goes on...

It was still raining in Tampa at 2:30 am. It rained pretty much nonstop for over 36 hours.

So, it finally stopped raining around 10 this morning. The Official Rain Gauge here at Tradition Manor recorded nearly 4 inches from this event.

Cold and sunny outside now.

Miserable weather here in Pinellas for the holiday weekend. Rained all day Sat & Sun then yesterday it was clear but only 59 so you couldn't even stand in the sun to stay warm. We are going to a couple Spring Training games this coming weekend so hopefully it will get into the 70s.

Boy oh boy have you become a softie!! 😂
It was 60 but super beautiful yesterday here in Jacksonville. Upper 60’s today. Tourist weather and the golfers are loving it.

Upper 60s today? In Jacksonville???

Looks like we're going to struggle to see 65 here at Tradition Manor.

After 50 years in Atlanta, I laughed at people here at the Cape when they were bundling up when it got in the 50s. After 2 years here, I guess my blood has changed--went for my morning bike ride yesterday and the temp was 47; I got one mile in and took a hot shower.

Yes, I'm a p***sy. So sue me.

We’re a peninsula sitting in a chilly tub of water. It just feels colder.
My (no pic) daughter walked the dog at 6:45 in a coat, gloves and cap.
It’s now 11:00 AM and she is sitting outside in my walled in courtyard in a tank top and shorts.
Head start on her tan 😎
