Did you catch anything? It didn’t break 60 in Tampa until 3 pm or so yesterday. I was fishing the Bypass Canal in the morning and it was ~55 with a stiff breeze. Rained as well. Sucky ass weather.
Yeah. Caught a handful of 1-2# and lost a 6#+ at the bank.Did you catch anything?
And there you go! The worst day of fishing is better than your best day at work.Yeah. Caught a handful of 1-2# and lost a 6#+ at the bank.
Low was 29 this morning in my part of Florida.
Currently 26° with a wind chill of 20°. Y'all whinging about temps in the 40s is funny.
All I know is ITS FVCKING COLD!!!!! Looking at the 10 day forecast it looks like maybe a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm seeing upper 70's end of next week🤞Predicted low for today, according to the WC app yesterday, was 41. Currently 43 at 6 am. It was 45 at 5 am so 41 might still happen. At least we didn’t get the 35 for today that the app predicted a few days ago.
Edit - 7 am low was 42
I hope so. I want plenty of sunshine for Gasparilla. All I know is ITS FVCKING COLD!!!!! Looking at the 10 day forecast it looks like maybe a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm seeing upper 70's end of next week🤞
Yeah. I brought in a bunch of potted plants last night. It's supposed to be mid 20s tonight so they'll stay in the garage.Clear and cold here in Jax this morning. Newcomers and transplants might be puzzled if they look around their neighborhood and see what looks like laundry drying on the bushes - but it is just the locals covering up certain plants so they’ll survive a freeze. My copper plant got covered up for sure.
You think that doesn't happen in the midwest? 🤣Clear and cold here in Jax this morning. I’ve lived in Michigan and Wisconsin and never covered up any of our landscaping so no I don’t recall it being a thing. You think that doesn't happen in the midwest? 🤣
I've only done it a few times on my tomato plants in the spring, but it's common if you have flowers you want protected.I’ve lived in Michigan and Wisconsin and never covered up any of our landscaping so no I don’t recall it being a thing.
Does anyone remember the 2010 Orange Bowl? I swear the local news stations were advising people to carry spades with them in case they came across a stunned iguana so you could cut their heads off.
