Courtney Smith’s Mother Is Reportedly Speaking Out In Defense Of Zach Smith

Jeff Snook, an author/reporter who’s written multiple books on Ohio State’s football program, reported on his Facebook page earlier this week that people would be “shocked” to hear some of the details that emerge from the investigation into Urban Meyer regarding how he handled domestic violence allegations against Zach Smith.
“There is so much more to this story, so much that I think the public will be shocked when it is all revealed,” Snook wrote. “And the bottom line is this: Don’t be surprised if Urban Meyer is on the sidelines September 1 in the opener against Oregon State.”
Today, Snook published some new bombshell, alleged details surrounding the Zach Smith-Courtney Smith storyline.
According to a report by Snook, Courtney Smith’s mother, Tina Carano, is speaking out in defense of Zach Smith.

(Zach Smith’s mother, Lynn) Bruce said that Courtney’s mother, Tina Carano, also heard her daughter state her plans against her husband for his infidelities. The mother and daughter have become estranged over the issue, Bruce claimed. She said Tina Carano also believes Zach Smith never struck her daughter.
“Her own mother is backing Zach in this issue and I am sure that makes her mad,” she said. “They do not speak anymore.”
Reached this afternoon, Tina Carano would only communicate via text messages and backed Lynn Bruce’s version.
When asked if she believed her daughter’s claims of physical abuse, she replied, “I believe that Zach was removing himself from an argument and I do not believe he intentionally abused her. I do not believe he actually intentionally swung or punched her … no.”
Zach Smith has been accused of domestic violence against Courtney Smith both in 2009 and 2015. He denied ever hitting his wife in multiple interviews last week.
