US Open Brackets?

It's great imo to challenge himself against the best. I can't wait to see it.

Doesn't the winner of the junior bracket get a bye to the finals at WTT? If so, he's missing out on that chance.

That's probably how it'll play on Twitter, after some booze and blackjack tonight.

His twitter started the spin a half hour after the match.

*Taylor was fresher.

*Renda and Avery tired him out because they were strong.

*He's just wrestling himself into shape now.

Then the best one:

*No excuses, just the facts.

He got friggin' teched less than 2 minutes into the match and was being run off the mat 15 seconds in.

Next match of his will be the only one I root for him in ever, as he probably gets Dean after that. Most likely he takes a dive in this one against Asper and injury defaults either during the match or after if he wins. It's unfortunate that he won't get past Dean to face Nickal - I don't see Dean pinning him, but would have loved to see Nickal deck his ass.

OK to loose. Most greats have at some time in their careers. But loose with dignity. I don't think he understands the concept. McRib

C'mon on Dice...DT got lucky. If McRib were at full health, he would rearrange DT's haircut ;) Downey has talent but with a full grown DT at 86, it is tough to see who can take him out besides Cox...Even then, if Cox isn't focused, I don't see him beating Taylor. Maybe it's my bias but I would like DT to do something on the world level before he goes into coaching.

I just got off work. Im going to binge watch US open matches now. I might start with Taylor vs PD3.. Then Ramos vs RBY.. Megaludis vs some guy Cory Clark merkled into the mat.. the list goes on. Gonna be a good night to relax and enjoy some high quality wrestling.

That RBY has a very high ceiling. He stayed on the outside and had a tough time with Ramos's head/hands. Once he gets coached up with handfighting and being able to hold the middle with guys, he is going to be a tough hombre. Held his own with Garnett but said that Ramos really wore him out. Valuable experience for him considering that most of his training has been accomplished in Arizona in a good system outside of a decent college or wrestling area.

Agreed. Getting the first takedown and close to another one on Tony Ramos as a Junior in HS is fairly impressive.

I know of a couple lightweight coaches who know a little about head and hands defense. Hope he takes a serious look at the Hawks. He could continue the tradition of our 133 pounders.

Added emphasis . . . Because I was emphatic about my excitement that night.
