The MLS reserve league is great for young players like him to get acclimated to their pro club. Really interested to see him develop.

Wait was he playing in top MLS there or was he playing in MLS reserve?

Regardless, I wish someone would find a way to get this kid to Dortmund's youth program. I feel like he'd develop better in a good academy in Europe than playing full MLS matches back home.

That looks like a reserve league game. I'm not sure of the rules but I think he bounces back and forth between the Union and their reserve team. He's actually going to Manchester City when he turns 18. Definitely unusual since that's years away

Why I’m never completely unhappy about positive results in road CONCACAF games…outside of Mexico you just never know what you’re getting.

The better and better players we have the more and more unaccustomed they will be to playing on bad surfaces.

I've heard that poor pitch is a reason that EPL teams can sometimes struggle against lower division squads in the FA cup.

Good win, advance to play the team that keeps beating us... Panama.
Not anymore. Panama doesn't have a free pass called Berhalter any longer. This was the best I can recall the U.S. looking overall. MP is getting the guys to play fluid, aggressive, and with purpose and it's only his 5th game. He was the third best option we could've gotten but is there a better manager in all of international football not at a club? By World Cup start time, we'll be pretty damn good.

Our defense needs work and can't implement his style effectively yet and we need to get Ream to move on only because he doesn't have any speed left. Love the guy but we need to give his spot to someone younger.

Loving what MP has done so far. I would love to see some version of what he had at Tottenham. Loved his style there but his teams were somewhat susceptible to the counter at times from what I recall.

Didn't get to see the match, was sleeping with a headache but I caught the highlights and it's amazing how much of a difference a quality pitch makes.

Diego Luna is an absolute joy to watch play. His motor never slows down, and he sees passes that no else does.
Wish he were bigger, but as is, he's a player that can contribute a lot. Especially if you break your nose but don't leave the game.

I also notice that, like all the Central America team, CR wants to play rough and dirty, and for a change, the US has provided tit for tat. My early impressions are that Poch might be the manager we've wanted for a long time.
