The typical bullshit where they do the homophobic chant on goal kicks. That leads to fan warnings, then they suspend play.
Not to mention them throwing shit at the USA players after the second goal celebration.
Just end the game. Mexico doesn’t deserve the extra time. It’s their ****ing fans.
Pissed I forgot about the game. I am going to have to start setting alarms on my phone for these games. Glad to see we won again.

This is a Concacaf decision. They want to make the most money possible in these events. If it was WCQ the US would have it in Ohio probably

The States dominated the game. Solid play all around minus Richard’s who was a little shaky on the back line.

Huge loss for the USMNT not sure they have another player in the pool who can come close to what Dest brings to the table.
About the only silver lining is I’d rather he miss the Copa instead of World Cup in two years.
I'd like to see Weah get a couple of games there. Plays as a back for his club, so he has experience and against quality competition. But, I'd also like to see Scally get an opportunity to see if he can take a step or two forward.
I’m very curious who plays on the Olympic squad vs copa for some.
There’s a few guys that could take the last few roster spots but only see minimal PT in copa, but could instead see larger roles in Olympics.
If that’s true, I’m going to assume at least some will get a choice of either play in the Copa or play in the Olympics.
I honestly have no idea what players this would have affected back for the last summer games for national teams in general.

Very underwhelming. Doesn’t over perform with clubs he takes over. Crystal Palace actually seemed to be going backwards. One saving grace is that his teams do well in knockout competitions. Still very unambitious.
Game day for Men's US Olympic team. Playing France who is once of the best teams. Not holding my breath for a result.
Tough opening draw, but the remaining group games should be doable.
Great experience for the u-23 squad regardless.
