Can't wait.Enjoy those 9pm Central kickoffs.
Yup. I’m not even sure what the point of all of this is now.College football is becoming less and less enjoyable.
Yeah, the Hawks have always done great traveling out west to play! Can't wait.

Everything is about money. Whether any of us like it or not. It's two programs that bring the LA market into the conference. That is huge.Yeah, the Hawks have always done great traveling out west to play!
sorry, updated for you. This thread seems to be missing something
Rutgers should be in the ACCThis is actually one of the few expansion possibilities I've really liked. Can we add Ore/Stanford and kick out Rutgers and NE?
But the money required isn’t institutional. You need individual fans that can write a $10 million check (that’s now the price for a top 5 QB)Everything is about money. Whether any of us like it or not. It's two programs that bring the LA market into the conference. That is huge.
Explain your stance. How is this good for the whole of college football?Disagree.
Oh man it sucks having the Hawks play new teams every now & then! Stick to the same 12 team schedule for 50 straight years, right?Explain your stance. How is this good for the whole of college football?
Meh, for selfish reasons I’d like to add Colorado, but kick out Nebraska for them. Winning all around— Iowa would come to Colorado some, Nebraska would be out of the B1G, and Nebraska fans would have to live with knowing Colorado was preferred over them. This is actually one of the few expansion possibilities I've really liked. I guess you only see the miopic view... And not the whole picture.Oh man it sucks having the Hawks play new teams every now & then! Stick to the same 12 team schedule for 50 straight years, right?
Big EastRutgers should be in the ACC
The amount of money LA will bring to the BTN value will make that chump change.I like it, but it will be hard on the travel budget for the B1G members. Adding two quality schools to the conference.

I'm down...Enjoy those 9pm Central kickoffs.
You’ll get all of the UCLA football fans!Does this actually bring in the Southern California market, or is this like Rutgers is to NYC or Maryland is to DC?
Facility upgrades sure do come from TV Money. This has nothing to do with NIL. Whole different conversation. But the money required isn’t institutional. You need individual fans that can write a $10 million check (that’s now the price for a top 5 QB
Why? I would love this. Huge market, new recruiting grounds, blue bloods for FB and BB.Do Not Like
Exactly! The rich get richer. The amount of money LA will bring to the BTN value will make that chump change.
You only upgrade facilities (to the level everyone’s upgraded them) to get players. Miami bought their quarterback. Their facilities still suck.Facility upgrades sure do come from TV Money. This has nothing to do with NIL. Whole different conversation.
Not to mention the Trojan fight song! Best one in college!Sweater girls in IC? Yes please.
USC is THE bomb in Los Angeles. Lakers? Dodgers? Angels? Rams? Pfffft.Does this actually bring in the Southern California market, or is this like Rutgers is to NYC or Maryland is to DC?
