Guys, remind me, how many points does a football team get in a game for arm strength? I keep forgetting.
Dinged.Taylor dinged up or just shutting it down after 240 yards?
Anyone rejoicing Wisconsin beating Nebraska isn't paying attention to the standings or has already given up on Iowa. Nebraska has a ridiculously brutal schedule and Wisconsin has a cakewalk schedule.
Meh, if we win out and miss Indy by one game, then it wasn't meant to be and/or we only have ourselves to blame.Anyone rejoicing Wisconsin beating Nebraska isn't paying attention to the standings or has already given up on Iowa. Yup. I'll take the schadenfreude of little debby losing over the very unlikely chance the Hawks win the West.Meh, if we win out and miss Indy by one game, then it wasn't meant to be and/or we only have ourselves to blame.
On the other hand, it is NEVER inappropriate to rejoice in a Nebby defeat.
F off nebby fan. Blackskirts LOL.Most Iowa fans are pretty sensible people, you sir are a douche bag. I feel sorry for your fellow Hawkeyes knowing that they root for the same team a jackass such as yourself does. GBR
Novel idea.Hornibrook = weakest arm in D1? One would have to believe Wisconsin would be capable of recruiting a QB that can throw beyond 10 yards. Load the box and make noodle arm beat you.
Not really impressed with Wisconsin. MSU's QB is better than Wisky's QB.Novel idea.
We probably need a win vs osu also. Even then we'd need help.I also am fine with Wisconsin winning for now because they do also have to face Michigan (and lose, please) and that still doesn't change that we need to find a way to beat both the Badgers and Huskers, anyway.
That and I don't ever want Nebraska to regain momentum and confidence in themselves. I'm always fine with Nebraska taking Ls.
I said winning out, which implies, well, exactly that.....including a win over Ohio State, who we are beating this year but shhhhh. We probably need a win vs osu also. Even then we'd need help.
Braska has to play osu/psu, two better teams than mi. Would have been much more likely if braska won. Our odds are really slim now.

They are? 4-3 since 2010 after a bye week. Lost last year to Penn State. Hung with OSU in Columbus in 2014. At Penn State in 2012. Not exactly easy games. You can't be serious about the West race? It is and has been Wisconsin all the way and we are definitely not getting back into it with 2 losses already and the schedule ahead. That's laughable. We are going to have to fight hard to get to 6-7 wins.
KFs teams are really bad the next game coming off a bye week too so having NW is going to be no easy task.

No bye in 2009. Lost in 2008 at Illinois. No byes in 2007 or 2006.No other bye weeks before 2010? I'm too lazy but would like to see KFs record after a bye. NW will not exactly be an easy game either.

4-4. Far from "real bad" after a bye week. Heck, even beat Michigan in Ann Arbor after a bye week.So 4-4 after a bye? Beat soundly twice by PSU, lost to a crappy IL team with Shonn Greene and played well against OSU in Columbus.

Agreed. I'll be there hoping for better outcome than 2011 when I went.Ok that's hopeful then as NW is a big swing game.

On the bye week, I hope some hard conditioning is on the menu. It was brutal to watch Wisconsin physically manhandle N's defense in the late 3rd/4th. I get it's Neb., but we've seen Iowa not have much left in the tank too at times.

Good grief man. The reason Iowa has lost twice this year is not conditioning. Down 10 points in 4th quarter to ISU and win in OT. Down 8 in PSU in 4th quarter and end up losing on last play of game. Outscore Illinois 28-3 in second half. Wisconsin is very good, but they haven't played anyone close to the caliber of Penn State or on the road at MSU.
One could make the argument that Iowa doesn't have good enough players, but that's different than conditioning.
You are undoubtedly heavily influenced by looking at two games. Horny's passing last night was below average but he does a lot of other things well that keeps him #1 on the depth chart. There are 2 very good frosh behind him, one with a strong arm.Not really impressed with Wisconsin. MSU's QB is better than Wisky's QB.
Bucky has plenty of challenges ahead, including two home games against tough opponents. You can't be serious about the West race? The Hawks under Kirk historically play better as the conference schedule plays out.
This, I wish we could get our O-line to play with the physicality that the badgers o-line plays with.Wisc has been going against a loaded box here and there and still running at will, something we cant do
