Velveeta Cheese

Build a sauce with one part velveeta, one part cheddar, and one part parmesan in a little milk and butter. Blend it all together over heat. Add a pinch of sugar at the end.
1. It’s not actual cheese.
2. It certainly has its uses. It makes a great queso dip.
3. If you can’t find a better cheese for grilled cheese sandwiches, you aren’t looking very hard.

I put a little sugar in my spaghetti sauce too. It's a time tested way to contrast the saltiness in many sauces.
Yeah I've heard of sugar in spaghetti sauce to neutralize the acidity of the tomatoes
Loved it as a kid. Sort of like cheese with mayo already mixed in.

This I can say with 100% certainty: Jesus would have loved it. Great on burgers. The best grilled cheese ever. You need to get some.

Edam makes one hell of a grilled cheese sandwich . One of those and a bowl of Tomato Bisque and I am in heaven. We are gluten free now though, so no melty, gooey sandwiches in this house.

Not my favorite but good to have some in the fridge. It is also good for dip. Mix velveta with your favorite salsa and microwave til soft.
Growing up all the old farmers liked Velveeta on their apple pie.
Nobody eats Velvetta, Spam or Hamburger helper...yet I see them on the shelf everytime I shop.
Take Valveeta, a dash of milk, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Turn into sauce in the microwave. Drizzle over Frito's.

Gross. Haven't had it in many years, or any American cheese.
Worked at a resturaunt where lots of foreigners visited and they did the cheese on pie thingy. Looked gross. Velveeta was a staple in our house. Also gross but it did make a great grilled cheese.

It is what it is, and for what it is, there is nothing better. Snobs can go to hell. Nothing melts better than Velveeta.
Never had that, but a slice of sharp cheddar on apple pie is terrific.
