Walton

Nope. If Settles was better he would be doing more than Big Ten, correct?

I thought it was hilarious that Walton kept talking about his "conference of champions" when the USC game looked like a high school contest compared to the Michigan/Maryland game they followed. Michigan looks like they should be rated much higher than they are. They have a hell of a team and are very well coached.
I’m convinced that this “conference of champions” schtick is either tongue in cheek and poking fun at the PAC 12, or Walton doesn’t actually watch any college basketball outside of PAC 12 ball. Could be a combination of the two

I was watching the Colorado/USC game and Walton was asked by his broadcast partner, "Have you seen Luka Garza?" Walton responds, "No, but i saw him in some highlights where he was outscoring the other team." I thought this was rather disappointing as I thought that being a legendary big man, he might have some interest in watching the best big man currently in college basketball. He then went on to drool about Evan Mobley, the center for USC, who admittedly is a very good player. I realize that he is a PAC-12 flack, but I just assumed he was a college basketball fan as well. Guess not.

I think Bill has lost a few brain cells along the way.

I often find him funny but he knows absolutely nothing about college basketball at all outside of the pac 12. The play-by-play guys who do games with him should be paid 3 times what they normally are paid.

Walton was one of the greatest college centers to ever play the game. Injuries kept him from achieving all he could have been in the NBA. That said, Walton occasionally has some funny lines as an analyst, or whatever he is, but overall he is awful. I can't watch much of a game, if he is an announcer.

Walton's "train of thought" broadcast style can be hard to take. I thought it amusing that he was clearly rooting for USC to win that game and Colorado beat them at home with Mobley getting 12 and 5.

I live in Pac12 country and used to try and watch some games. Ive given up. Walton is the worst in all of the land. nail,s on chalk bad

Oh my gosh. There is nothing on so I am watching ASU and UCLA. Aside from him muting his play by play guy and trying to talk over him he just made an asinine comment.

He was complaining about Washington St. beating Stanford and how Lunardi moved Stanford to the first 4 out. He said he didn't get why these Big Ten and Big 12 teams lose to "middle of the road teams in their conference" and never move in the brackets. He claimed Stanford shouldn't be punished for losing to a good WSU team (who is now 7-10.)

The Pac-12 has 6 teams under .500 and another, Arizona, who is 9-8. I know he is a stoner and a PAC-12 homer but does he watch any other basketball? At all?
