Am I off my aging rocker, or has this scrimmage usually happened two weeks before the first game? Mind you, I'm not saying we'd be seeing the Baylor offense next weekend, but I wasn't thinking we'd see the smoothest operation after 9 days of camp.
Going back to spring, wasn't the Valley practice noticeably more ragged than the spring scrimmage? I felt bad for Boone in particular today, knowing he might get singled out for how he looked three weeks before game one. We should expect at least some hiccups out of some of the young lineman for a few games, and quite a few more three weeks before game one.
I would think that the young wide outs- and QBs- would also have been ill-served by being put on display this early.
