Playing for NCAA seeding. Amazing the difference a good seeding makes in reaching the sweet 16.

Even if they lost the next 4, I would not consider this a fade with all that has happened this year. Winning the last 2 games without one of your 3 best players from a team already down 3 players from what were your top 8-9 players. No way Iowa is on the bubble even if they lose out. Too many Quad 1 and 2 wins, too many road and neutral wins compared to the teams actually on the bubble.
If they can find a way to get a 6 seed or better in NCAA tournament, they would have a legitimate shot to get to the second weekend.

The Hawks are a bad/let-down game @ Nebraska from being alone in second place by .5 game and 1.5 back of Maryland for first. (and a hurt CJF ankle from [possibly] being 1.5 up on second place and just .5 back from first)
This season has just been surreal.
The lack of depth, the overall strength of the conference, and yet Iowa is still right there in the thick of the title race. Fran McCaffery deserves some real CotY love when it comes to the voting for it.

Because I simply cannot imagine winning the BTT. Really nothing to do with talent, just straight up market economics. Could you imagine the market share difference between an Iowa Rutgers final or Iowa PSU and MSU vs. tOSU?
