Looks like as of now Iowa/OSU is a Sat-Sun series with a Sat DH. I see they are calling for rain/snow on Sunday.

It is imperative that we get all three games in this weekend. Iowa's schedule is really tough this year and my biggest fear is getting screwed over on winning percentage and not making the B1G tournament if we have any more games cancelled. Somehow, some way we need to find a way to get them all in.

One could argue that Iowa getting snowed out against Indiana helps Iowa (especially if Indiana had won game 3). If you go on the assumption that Indiana wins most of its series, Iowa splitting with the Hoosiers actually puts Iowa ahead of the other teams that Indiana will play (if the Hoosiers go 2-1 or 3-0 in those series).

I do agree that playing all the Big 10 games is better than not, that way everyone has the same opportunity to win/lose. The reality is that Iowa's very difficult conference schedule makes it very hard for Iowa to win the regular season title. Hawks do get Northwestern and Penn State to end the season. The good news is playing the better teams (and having Okie State for a series) will give Iowa opportunities to get good RPI wins. Iowa has a realistic shot at an at-large NCAA berth with a winning Big 10 record and winning the series against Okie State. The first bracket projection today had Iowa in the first four teams out of the NCAA tournament.
