Heaven, Iowa
Since the SEC has half the teams in the CFP, does the SEC get half the revenues that come from the CFP?

How much less money does each B1G school get as a result of being left out of the CFP?

Why would any stud recruit want to leave the South when the CFP is made 100% from teams from the South/Southeast?

The difference in money between the 4 playoff spots versus the bowl Wisconsin got anyway, the divided by 14 conference schools and the conference office getting their cut makes me doubt it's a big financial loss.
As for recruiting, who cares. We don't recruit the same players at the top teams unfortunately. We likely won't get the top player from our own state.
The saddest thing for me is I see Purdue with Brohm passing us and Nebraska with Frost is likely to pass us. We have seen everything Kirk can do as a coach and it isn't enough to keep up. Afraid we are doomed for mediocrity again . Barta has put the fan base to sleep and no one that matters cares if we win or lose. Just as well take down all the scoreboards. Winning isn't important. I yearn for the Hayden Fry early years.
Where is Iowa's Scott Frost ? It ain't Brian Ferentz.

So Purdue is passing us and Nebraska also? I'll bet you said Minnesota passed us with PJ Fleck too.

Suter, If you can find a post that says Fleck and Minnesota will pass Iowa in football with my name on it I'll own it. However, I never said it.
I don't expect you to be anything but an Iowa homer since you and the radio station live off the Iowa teat.
I've been a fan and a major contributing fan as long as you have of Iowa only the expectations are different.
It does appear that Minnesota basketball has passed Iowa.

Yes, the Chicken Littles are astounding. I guess we're not allowed to have the opinion that we wish some things would change with the program (they appear to be trying to change those things) while still appreciating the consistency and what Ferentz has done to date. The only two undefeated conference seasons since the 1920s have come while Ferentz was the coach. But yet "he doesn't try" or "doesn't care" or whatever the rationale is.

Taking Bama over Ohio State was a dumb move. Now, 3/4 of the nation could give two shits about who wins those games. TV ratings will be horrible.
