What Are You Willing To Pay For A Bottle

Found Bakers high rye bourbon that just made it's way to Iowa. Pretty solid. Not sure if worth the price tag though.

I paid $150 yesterday for a bottle of the 2024 Papa’s Pillar Legacy rum. Can’t wait to get it back home and open next weekend by the fire.

Bakers with a different mash bill? Beam Suntory products are usually high rye. I have a bottle of Bakers in my cabinet. Now I'm curious.
Yep. Supposedly twice the amount of rye compared to regular Bakers.

Thanks. I assume you paid more that the $75 MSRP?

I have a friend who has probably 40 cases of wine in his garage, most likely in the $30-50 per bottle range . He always says he doesn’t have a drinking problem just a buying problem

I am always happy to help him out
You're friend has $20k in wine in his garage,, that's awesome. I have friends like that but you don't hear about it often.

Found a Knob Creek rye 10 year the other day. New to the state. Pretty damn good. I compared it to a 5 year store pick KC Rye. Similar profile but much deeper oak throughout. Finish was a bit shorter though.

0.00. Had a bad experience involving some Old Crow in college and even the whiff of whiskey or bourbon makes me nauseous.

115 proof? I find the SB Select as a store pick occasionally. Have you ever had Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye? 127 proof. It's been a while since Beam/Suntory put it out.
