The governor of Illinois has been pretty vocal about the migrant raids in Chicago
I wished some would speak out. Including Republicans.
Dems are outnumbered they can't do anything by themselves. Either some Republicans stand with them or there is nothing that can be done.
Do we not know how government works? These are mostly EOs. The Dems also can't bring any legislation to the floor they don't control either chamber. Lawsuits are being filed endlessly all we can do at this moment and be loud.
Can the Trump admin just create a 'program' to let in half a million people from wherever they decide?

Yes, the Trump admin created a parole program previously so he understands ( or someone in his previous administration) the mechanics of creating a parole program.
So he could, just for example, create a Miss Universe immigration parole program, and let all the Miss Universe candidates stay here indefinitely?
I believe there is usually a time limit associated with a parole program, Bidens was 2 years for instance.
