Where were you when O.J. got acquitted?

The Coast Guard Seventh District Office in downtown Miami. We had a TV set up in our office for the entire trial. I have no idea why the brass allowed that to happen, but they did.

In 6th grade. I vaguely remember them announcing it over the PA system…….to this day I’m not sure why. Us kids only knew OJ as Nordberg from the Naked Gun movies

Verdict: In 8th grade social studies. All the classrooms had it on the little TVs bolted in the upper corner of each room. When it was announced our teacher put her head in her hands and cried while a couple of the older grunge kids ran out in the hall celebrating.

Chase: hanging out at a friend’s house. Ran home and told my parents to turn it on. They weren’t sports fans so weren’t watching the finals and would’ve missed it entirely. We sat and watched on our tiny kitchen counter TV.

Anyone with even a mild interest in the case should read ‘The Run of His Life’ by Jeffrey Toobin. Whole sections are just batshit crazy and I couldn’t put it down.
