He's an interesting cat to me. He is leftish/populist in quite a few of his views especially as it pertains to public education and a welfare state that cares for the chipdren. I think he's probably also sympathetic to conservationism which used to be a nonpartisan populist interest. But he is not there with the LGBT. If I was actually a committed ideological Marxist of some persuasion, it would be my duty to accuse him of being a LaRouche guy

It's why I asked last week if some of these corporations really give a $hit or are they just following suit and/or sticking it to the GOP. Pretty soon we're going to have, "Thank you for your gayness" to replace "Thank you for your service" and folks will get a 10% discount for being LGBTQIA+. <---------which I think would be frack'n hilarious.
Leftist view of this if you care to indulge: None of these corporations care about you or anyone except their owners. Extremely successful ones will often pay lip service to progressive social justice or to all the good they are doing for their employees and the public, but this is all pure publicity/marketing (regardless of whether or not the CEO is a good person who wants to do good things, that does not ultimately matter). The bottom line of any and all of these ad campaigns showing these companies are tolerant of LGBT or committed to a sustainable green future or that they take mental health awareness seriously is that they are ad campaigns. That's it. They only care about society for as long as they are in the black. React all you want to the ads playing during games, but it's not politics.
