besides CJF of course. I can remenber from about 1983.

Glen Worley
If it's Iowa, downtown Freddy Brown. I've never seen a shooter like him except for Rick Mount from Purdue. Listed at 6-3, he wasn't. He was probably 6-1 on a good day. I was able to have a few breakfasts with him at Quadrangle dining. 😎❤️🏀Joel Embiid probably for me
Edit: assuming this means while attending a CBB game, not on TV
That is a great pick. I would go with Grant Hill. Guy could do whatever was needed and then someFor a serious answer, I'd say Allen Iverson. He was spectacular at Georgetown.
I see what you did there. For a serious answer, I'd say Allen Iverson. He was spectacular at Georgetown.
Bill Walton . He would rebound and have the outlet pass to half court before his feet hit the ground . Terrific on defense and as shot blocker . He shot 21-22 in National championship game , and had one taken away for offensive goaltending.
I think the OP meant seen in person- hard to pick between Magic, Ralph Sampson, Akeem the Dream, and Ronnie Lester for meBut only 2/5 from the free throw line
Cazzie probably should have been on my list, tooProbably Cazzie Russell or Glen Rice.
THIS for sure!besides CJF of course. I can remenber from about 1983.

Yep. Earvin Johnson.Magic Johnson
Saw Lewis Lloyd break his Vets scoring recordLarry Bird. Saw him play against Drake. He pretty much carried an otherwise unspectacular team to the national championship game.
Actually, Walton was 25-26 from the field . Four baskets were disallowed for offensive goaltending since there was a no dunking rule at the time. That team won 88 straight games .Huh ?
I saw Wayman Tisdale play in person against Iowa St. in high school, he was so good! I would have never gone to an Iowa St game but I won the tickets with my high school basketball team's free throw-a-thon fundraiser(2nd place). 1st place was Iowa tickets. I was not happy, but I was glad I was able to see Tisdale play.Jim Jackson would be on my list. Glenn Robinson. Doug McDermott, 3 time AA 1st team, Grant Hill,
My pick for #1 is Pete Maravich.
Was just scrolling through AA teams, saw the 83-84 team:
Michael Jordan
Patrick Ewing
Hakeem Olajuwon
Sam Perkins
Waymon Tisdale
Pretty good team. 😲 😉
That was the game that stood out for me. Loudest game in the field house too.
Yep. Earvin Johnson.
Lester's junior year, when they won the Big Ten, the Mich. St game was the best game I witnessed in the Field House. Magic was just different in every respect.
