WWJD bracelets and other WWJD merchandise were extremely popular in the early 2000's. You don't see them nearly as often anymore. Why do you think that is?

Easy answer.

The actions of a significant number of folks wearing those bracelets were quite contrary to “what Jesus would do.” Demonstrated hypocrisy.

A certain former Iowa basketball coach used to sign off on notes and cards with “WWJD.”

From what I understand from good sources, that guy’s decision making is pretty f’ing far from being guided by Jesus’ teachings.

Just one example … but a pretty good one.
