Except they kept pressing even after Iowa inbounded it. I thought it was weird. You are down 12, Iowa has given up trying to score, let the clock run out.
Alford calling TO up 5 with 2 seconds left was nice. Miller returned the favor in the Pac-12 tournament and called timeout up 11 with 0.9 seconds left.
I get "playing to the horn" but I thought was South Dakota did was weird. Perhaps they wanted to cover, as the line was 11.5 and had that last 3 by SD gone it the Coyotes would have covered.
Except the crowd, who had their plans moved back to an 8:05pm start time. They gave a pretty good chorus of boo's after the timeout.
I liked that S. Dakota's coach was smiling and positive throughout the game, and at the end. Definitely not a tool. His pre-game interview with Dolph was pretty impressive. This is a guy on the way up.
I see no reason to take shots at the guy. I thought he had a good game plan and his kids were a steady, sturdy bunch who played hard.
Some coaches like to talk to their players and tell them to keep their cool or calm them down.

Thought he had a well coached team. But there was absolutely no reason for that last time out.
Their fouls were pointless too....you're not gonna get back into a game by sending Jok to the line
They played in the CIT in 2010 and were not strangers to the postseason in D II.
It looked like one of their players got into a beef with one of our fans as the game ended. Anyone else see that?
