Why do Anthony Fauci, Liz Cheney, and Adam Shiff need preemptive Pardons?

Trump was prosecuted because he broke the law. He was found guilty as well.

A grand jury indicted him. That's not political.
Tell that to Joe...

Special counsel David Weiss' office on Monday appeared to push back against President Joe Biden's claim that its prosecutions of Hunter Biden were politically motivated, calling such allegations "baseless."

Also, if a person not named Trump, refused to return classified documents, shared them with a foreign national, they would be prosecuted for treason.

A person can be prosecuted for not securing classified documents. It could be a person in the intelligence community, a military officer.

They would be prosecuted.

When you work for the federal government, you take an oath, even as a census worker. You’re not allowed to share information.
the differences between how trump and biden and pence (a lot of conservatives always leave him out of this discussion) handled the classified documents has been covered exhaustively

if people still don't understand or think it is all persecution of trump...there's really no point in discussing it any further

Biden (or pence, or bush, or Obama) didn’t get charged because they returned the documents when requested…as has been the case with every president. Trump did not, and in fact lied and had his lawyer lie in an affidavit that he’d returned everything. When the FBI ultimately had to execute their search warrant, that was after a year and a half of asking nicely - had Trump simply returned the documents when requested he doesn’t get charged. It’s that simple.

youre also ignoring all the measures we know he took to hide documents, the sheer volume of classified documents he had that included some extremely sensitive materials.

I’m sorry, but for the documents case in particular, to call that a political prosecution is just false.

There’s no avoiding some level of political maneuvering regarding the pardon, but at least this would have some guardrails to prevent the worst abuses.
Like I said before, Trump is guilty on some level.

Trump also had reasons to do what he did. He believed the DOJ was out to get him and he wanted some documents to prove his side.

Did the DOJ actually think trump was going to leak these documents to foreign countries? Did they think Trump having these documents was a danger to America? The amount of force used to get the documents back and the planting of documents to make it look worse than it was leads me to have an open mind about the whole case.

I believe 2 things to be true. Trump was guilty of having classified documents. The dems used excessive force to try to create a specific narrative about Trump. This whole thing is a wash in my mind. I wasn't hurt by the documents even though it was illegal for Trump to have them, but I also learned that dems were willing to do anything to make Trump look bad. Considering Trump won the election, I think a lot of other Americans agree with me.

Biden kept classified documents he was not entitled to take in a garage. In a box next to his car. The left really is fvcking stupid.

one person's legitimate prosecution is another person's political persecution.

but why wouldn't the democrats have reason to worry? trump has said he'll have "no choice" but to go after them (among many many other comments about arresting or prosecuting those he deems worthy). trump has nominated someone to lead the FBI (among others) that has pledged to purge disloyal, "corrupt" federal employees

i guess you can just choose not to believe trump will do what he is on record saying he should or would do (and has made nominations in support of those desires)...but i think its dumb to wonder why democrats are preparing as though he is going do to those things
If there was proof that Biden and the DOJ weaponized the justice system to take out Trump, would you want to know? Would you want those people to be prosecuted if they did that do Trump?

Of course they don't want to know...

For those of you who are a little slower on the scorecard:

It's starting to look more and more likely the United states government worked in conjunction with China to release a deadly virus as a way of creating chaos to end a presidency.

Like we are past the "haha hehe" part and are now to the part where the Crooks are saying "you're never gonna catch me".

LOLOL.

Seriously? A deadly virus that affected the entire world to take out only the President of the US?

That’s rich.

Clearly some have little understanding of geo politics.

The deep state fear is strong in some conspiracy theorists.

Let’s ask RFKjr. I’m sure he’s got an explanation for this.

No it isn’t. I believe it was probably a lab leak, but as with most things, the answer is probably negligence not villainy.

The fact is that fauci broke the law and entrusted a bunch of Chinese quality laborers to do the work for him that was banned state side. The "why" he did this is open to interpretation. Biden issuing him a pardon opens the door to scrutiny and conspiracy theory..

Given the "conspiracy theorists" outperformed leftists when it came to the reality of the pandemic it does make one wonder..

All the fed investigations into Trump were legitimate. Those sort of investigations should exist when appropriate.
So you're 100% on board with investigating and potentially prosecuting fauci, Cheney and biden at minimum?

So you're 100% on board with investing fauci, Cheney and biden at minimum?
If there is reason like there was with Trump.

With Fauci, there is the accusation that he committed perjury. Beyond that I'm not sure what exactly your angle is from a legal perspective. From a covid handling perspective, sure, investigate and learn from mistakes.

What would we be investigating Cheney over?

Correction, he posted it.

If you want to know why Trump and the right believe she should be prosecuted, read the following article. The article has some good links to other things the left have done to push their disinformation campaign. Even if you don't believe what the article says, it may help you understand why republicans believe what they do.

You need serious help if you believe that crap🤦‍♂️
Documents case speaks for itself. Trump was dumb enough not to return documents. Didn't have a right to them. Never should have been a case here but he was a moron.

Crossfire hurricane was investigated and found to be legit. (turned up plenty of suspicious items and convictions)

The election case was rather obviously going to merit an investigation. (between the attack on the capitol and the false electors)

What crime does that suggest?

Yeah. Totally different. He’s not leaning into prosecuting his political enemies at all.
Are you actually unaware of the laws Liz cheney broke while on the j6 committee? They were quite serious and reported on, just fyi.

Biden literally stole documents while a senator and vp, with no declassification authority. He left them in a box in a garage by his spare car. Hunter brought foreign "friends" over to that house often. Weird......

Additionally, this piece from Kash Patel is beyond ridiculous.

Ornato was assigned to the White House during the Trump administration to coordinate presidential protection as deputy chief of staff. As a Secret Service officer with a distinguished decades-long apolitical career, it was impossible for the J6 committee to label him a “Trump loyalist”

Did you actually read the J6 committee stuff? Ornato was directly accused of trying to help Trump in delaying the vote count. The Secret Service were accused of deleting all of the text messages from January 5th and 6th.

He cooperated and Trump didn't. I believe there are other cases like this out there, but they also cooperated.

Why don’t you tell me?
Liz Chaney lied under oath, tampered with the testimony of a witness, held back exculpatory evidence and was part of the group who deleted records before the new Republican led House of Representatives was sworn in. All of those are crimes, most of them are felonies.

i look forward to the second trump DOJ prosecuting all these obvious law breakers the same way the first trump DOJ prosecuted that obvious law breaker hillary clinton

Don't you think this is kind of a big deal.

Put yourself in Trumps shoes. He was accused of Russiagate leading up to the 2016 election. Hillary was found to have involvement in this and was actually fined for her involvement. However, she was not held accountable for using unsecured communication and then destroying evidence. How is this not election interference? Where was HIllary's accountablity?

Trump wants to look into Bidens involvement in Ukraine and possible influence peddling. Trump gets impeached for this.

Fast forward to 2024 and now Joe Biden pardons Hunter backdating it to 2014 which is the exact time Hunter was hired on to Burisma in what republicans claim was for Ukraine to gain access to Joe Bidens influence.

Joe Biden is on record bragging to withhold funding to ukraine unless the fire the prosecutor looking into Burisma. How is this not a big red flag to you?

Trump seems like he was correct about Russiagate, he may be correct about Bidens influence peddling in Ukraine. But Biden is trying to issue pardons to cover up any accountablity.

Maybe Trump has been right all along.

Do you think Hillary was innocent? Do you think she should have been prosecuted?

If Trump prosecuted HIllary, then dems would have said it was political prosecution. Trump looked the other way for Hillary because he said that was the better way to go for the country's sake.

Dems went on to ramp up the political prosecution of Trump and now they are surprised when he says people should be held accountable.

Such a double standard. Hillary, Biden, etc deserve to rot in prison for what they have done.
