Why doesn’t Iowa bring in Bielema and Diaco as coaches in waiting?

Can't complete with the nebby $8.5M three headed monster of Polini-Riley-Frost.

You should try for a four. Kirk's got what, two of your head coaches fired and an AD.

Bahahaha!
You don’t really think Kirk is alone in the short comings of Blow and Riley do you? They lost to everyone and they lost to Wisconsin much worse. Also, Blow Pelini was 3-1 vs Iowa. So there’s that...

Since Nebraska joined the Big10 in 2011 they have won their division just once, same amount as Iowa. Wisconsin has won theirs 5 times. Wisconsin is what the rest of West division is chasing.

Each night Bielema kicks himself for leaving Wis.
and going to Arkansas. He thought that he could
better himself. Instead, he got worse and was
fired. He could have stayed at Wisconsin forever.

Nebraska might find out that they should have hired BB instead of Frost. From what I saw with UCF's defense, Diaco's D might be just as good.
so did you not watch the peach bowl? They were a top 30 defense, and yeah, they got lit up by the #2 offense in the nation, behind THEIR OFFENSE

Nope I did not watch the Peach Bowl, didn't care for the teams playing so I didn't waste my time. Really with the exception of Memphis and Auburn they didn't play a whole lot of offensive juggernauts. South Florida was ranked but I don't know how great their offense was since I've never watched them play. Connecticut, Austin Peay, Eastern Carolina and Florida International I wouldn't call powerhouses.

I disagree. Alvarez seems a bit like Jerry Jones while Bert doesn't seem a bit like Jason Garrett.

Wait, I'm confused. In your jumbled response, are you suggesting UCF had a top 30 defense this year?

You're basing your post off of the one game that fits your narrative. Not even the most recent game, vs the SEC West champ. They played very well.

Bahahaha! Pelini beat Iowa and then was promptly fired...so there's that. Internet and google are your friends. It's so easy.

Stick to the point or your comment? You can shove your condescending attitude straight up your a**.
Little sensitive today, or is this your usual self?

My comment had nothing to do with how our program got where it is. It had absolutely nothing to do with your follow-up comment. You're a quasi-troll. You do what trolls do. Try to inflame every chance you get.

ISU held them to 20 something and Iowa scored 49 against ISU and 50+ against nebraska.....so what?

Not sure how this could consititute as a “trolll post”. Diaco and BB are both Iowa greats and proven at their craft.

Unless Diaco was secretly a double-agent for Iowa, and purposely made Nebraska bad on defense, I am not sure you can say that he is proven at his craft. Nebraska, in 2017, gave up 36.4 points per game. They gave up 214.8 yards per game rushing, 5.6 yards per attempt. They gave up 221.4 yards per game passing, giving up 19 touchdowns to making 9 interceptions. That isn't defense--it is barely even slowing things down.

Diaco also doesn't fit because he runs a 3-4, while Iowa has run a 4-3 for the entire 19 years that Coach Ferentz has been at Iowa. It should be apparent to Nebraska fans that a 3-4 is different than a 4-3, and requires different personnel and technique. If I believe that you understand that fact, that makes you a troll.
