Why is our SOS so bad?

Yes they do use it. They look at Ken Pom sagarin and BPI as well as NET
If you weren’t so stupid, you would no that.
They don't use it from the official team sheet they receive... but, yes. They are allowed to use whatever resources they choose to evaluate teams, so I hope you're right that committee members are going to ignore what is handed to them, go out to a for-profit website and value a single metric buried in a ton of data over one on the sheet of paper handed to them.

look at the team sheet. Ken Pom and other rankings are listed. Each committee member starts with Net and can use other data to move Team up or down.

That's the overall KenPom Ranking, not the KenPom Strength of Schedule ranking.

How freaking obtuse are you David? there is no KenPom or Sagarin SOS on the official Nitty Gritty Sheet. In case you haven't noticed before, this thread where you're displaying your amazing Brainiac Powers is titled:

You're the idiot that can't tell the difference between the KenPom ranking and the KenPom SOS ( strength of schedule for the intellectually impaired) ranking.

Because if it were that easy then every team would want to do it.
Kind of what this thread is all about. Other teams have figured out how to not have 3 or 4 300+ teams on schedule every year, at least better than Iowa. Maybe Iowa needs to consider occasionally playing an away or at least neutral court game or two, if they can't get teams to come to Iowa City. The schedule this year was actually pretty damn tough, except for those 3 lousy teams.
